Baojun’s first model with Huawei HiCar solution coming
Baojun, a Chinese automobile marque owned by a joint venture of General Motors and SAIC Motor, SAIC-GM-Wuling Automobile, is going to launch its first mass-made model equipped with Huawei HiCar solution on December, 29 in Shenzhen.
HiCar represents people-car-home connectivity solution for all scenarios, which can be connected to the vehicle, mobile phone, watch and some other intelligent devices. In November this year, the Chinese automobile marque announced the partnership with Huawei, the world's leading provider of ICT devices, and its participation in the HiCar project that made debut in August, 2019.     
In April, 2019, Baojun introduced its new vision for becoming a leading mobility provider in China, focusing on new mobile lifestyle and its new genes of youth, technology, connectivity and intelligence. It is also using a new diamond-shaped logo. Recently, the new brand aims to strengthen its deployment in the Internet-connected vehicle field and the mass-produced model set to debut is the fruit.    
In addition, Huawei is expected to reveal more partners from the Internet ecosystem at the December 29 event, including Baidu and Himalaya FM.    
Besides, the Baojun marque filed an application for its small-sized all-electric model named Baojun E300, according to the information from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The new model adopts the iconic Interstellar Geometry design language. Its fashionable split body design and two-tone exterior contribute to a futuristic look, and the hui (回) character shape at its front bumper echoes the pattern of radar waves.
