China releases policy to boost IoV standardization system building
Recently, China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) and the Standardization Administration (SAC) jointly issued a series of guidance documents (hereinafter referred to as “guidance”) on the construction of a vehicle-use Internet (IoV) standardization system. IoV Industries and Automated Driving The good development of technology.
According to the guidance, based on information and communication technologies, the Internet of Things industry will focus on providing comprehensive information services to form a new type of industrial ecosystem that integrates data from automobiles, electronics, information, communications, and transportation. Full contact between vehicles and other vehicles, roads, people and service platforms. Sound IoV development contributes to innovation in the automotive industry and advances in driver assistance and autonomous driving technology. In addition, it is helpful to increase traffic efficiency, reduce accidents, save energy, and reduce pollution.
The guide includes several major chapters, such as Intelligent Connected Vehicles (ICV), Information and Communication, and Electronic Products and Services.
According to ICV's technical logic structure and other standards, the guide defines the ICV standardization system framework, including basics, general specifications, product and technology applications, and related standards. In addition, the document also defines the direction of product and application standards, such as environmental awareness, decision warning, automatic control, and information interaction.
According to the guidance, the information and communications standardization system should be designed to develop IoT information and communication technologies, the Internet and facilities, and related applications and services. In addition, the system construction should serve the development of new technologies such as LTE-V2X and 5G eV2X to meet the standardization requirements related to IoV application development.
In addition, the standardization system of electronic products and services mainly supports the standardization of automotive electronic products, in-vehicle information systems, and services and platforms.
