SAIC MAXUS’s Oct. sales continue to exceed 10,000 units, up 78.58% YoY
It only took SAIC MAXUS ten months of 2019 to break 2018 annual sales record with 92,146 units sold as of October. The Oct. sales of the wholly owned subsidiary of SAIC Motor soared 78.58% year on year to 11,424 units. In addition, over 56,000 units have been sold across 48 foreign countries and regions up to now.
The combined monthly sales of the G10 PLUS and the G20, medium and large sized MPVs, surged 89.47% over the previous month to 3,257 units. The MPV G50 for family use saw its Oct. sales reach 2,702 units. The D60, a medium sized customizable SUV model, has witnessed the cumulative sales of 3,536 units since it came into the market in July this year.
As to its LVs (light vehicles), the total sales of the V80 and V90 amounted to 24,042 units from Jan. to Oct. In the same period, the cumulative sales of the T60 and T70 pickups were up by 15.89% year on year to 21,015 units.
To expand the product portfolio, the brand will roll out several new models including the EUNIQ 6 with a NEDC-rated range of more than 500km. In fast charge mode, the vehicle can be charged to over 80% in 40 minutes.
In the future, the company is expected to launch various models based on its MIFA (Maxus intelligent flexible architecture), including NEV, BEV and PHEV versions. Meanwhile, it will pay more attention to the further development of new energy technologies and intelligent driving products.
